2GB is Sydney’s English-language news and talk station on 873 AM, carrying current affairs, interviews, listener discussion and extensive rugby league coverage. It first broadcast from Adyar Hall on 23 August 1926; its call sign honours the philosopher Giordano Bruno, and the station is now operated by Tapt Media.
