Quran Radio from Cairo is an Egyptian public religious station that began broadcasting on 25 March 1964. Created initially to air Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary’s complete recorded recitation, its Arabic schedule now combines Quran readings by prominent reciters with Islamic teaching, scholarly and devotional programmes.
