WRUU Savannah Soundings is an online radio station from The United States Of America, broadcasting in english. The format focuses on community radio, unitarian universalist church. This was truly a labor of love of thousands of hours of volunteers time, knowledge, talent, and generosity of heart who believe in community radio. We received the first new permit to build a local Savannah station in over 15 years! June 2013: “The Federal Communications Commission announced last week that the airwaves are open. Thanks to the Local Community Radio Act of 2010, groups of qualified non-profits around the country will have the opportunity to create their own low-power FM community.
